Isaac Rochester
Born in Pineville, NC, in 1989, and raised in Blacksburg, SC, Isaac is a singer-songwriter, composer, and member of the Brent Rochester Family bluegrass gospel group. He began to learn guitar from his dad at age six, and the banjo at age ten. He began to teach his first banjo student at age eleven. Being a homeschool student gave him the opportunity to spend more time with his music.
Drawing from his many years of playing experience, Isaac has developed a teaching style that will not only have you playing quickly, but will make you a better, more tasteful musician, no matter your skill level. Isaac co-founded thegospelworkshop.com with a passionate goal to help others learn to play gospel music.
One of Isaac’s favorite verses is: Psalm 33:3 “Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.”
